Michael Sutton is a poet, writer and artist from Liverpool. His publications include music/lyrics (Hesterglock Press), Room #5 (The Blasted Tree), @BucciCoin with Thomas M. Tayler (Trickhouse Press) and Unwelcome Combine (Paper View Books). He also edits Overground Underground, an occasional magazine and press.
Sutton has performed works across the UK for Poem Brut and the European Poetry Festival, and he once supported Lou Reed (a Lou Reed tribute act) at the Zanzibar in Liverpool. His previous sound work, Woodhouse Moor 0424-0436am, was published by Post-Asemic Press in 2024.
He is currently based in Yorkshire, where he researches and teaches at the University of Leeds, focussing on poetry and prehistoric language.
